On Sunday, India expressed its readiness to assist Nepal in rebuilding various structures that were damaged during the anti-government protests organized by the 'Gen Z' group, should Nepal make a formal request.
Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava, met with Nepal's Energy Minister, Kulman Ghising, at his office located in Singha Durbar, Kathmandu.
According to sources from the Energy Ministry, the discussion primarily focused on bilateral cooperation in energy and water resources, as well as reviewing the progress of various projects initiated under the Nepal-India collaboration.
Sources indicated that Ambassador Srivastava conveyed to Ghising that India is prepared to help with the reconstruction of the damaged structures if Nepal seeks assistance.
